This book is very solid! It’s a comprehensive guide for young men to follow. What makes this book so unique is how it gives fatherly wisdom to the next generation. A lot of African American males lack the wisdom of the elders, and I think this book can give the next generation understanding on how to build a meaningful life. This really touched me because this is the wisdom I received without my natural father from older men and father figures in my life. This is a must-read for all young Christian males, especially those in the African American community who lacked father figures and male role models growing up.
Relationships are one of the most important areas of our lives. The people connected to us can either build us up or tear us down. The Bible said, "we perish for a lack of knowledge." Many marriages, friendships, and partnerships are broken because of the lack of knowledge on how to build and sustain relationships in a kind, loving, respectful and genuine way. More than ever marriage/relationships are under attack.
